Seabird Island Festival

The annual Seabird Island Festival hosts Indigenous teams to compete on the water and soccer pitches within the spirit of traditional culture. Over 6,000 people from across BC will attend the Seabird Festival, May 25-26, 2024 as athletes, officials, volunteers, and spectators to participate in the name of their communities. This event fosters healthy physical, social, and mental development and cultural tradition and identity. The formal opening is 10:00am Saturday. Skateboarding is all-day Saturday. The Wonder World for children is open daily from 10:00am-4:00pm. A Coastal Jam featuring traditional drumming and singing begins at 6:00pm Saturday. Food trucks and vendors will be on-site both days.
