Details

Cops for Cancer is an exciting annual event that takes place each fall, when over a hundred law enforcement and emergency services personnel from across the province brave all types of weather as they cycle up to two weeks across the daunting terrain of Vancouver Island, Northern BC, the coast of British Columbia and the Fraser Valley.

Why? Because the impact of cancer on the life of a child and their family is devastating. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society through Cops for Cancer are used to fund life-saving research and caring support programs to reduce its impact.

This year, Cops for Cancer, Tour de Valley, presented by Coast Capital Savings, is September 22nd to 30th.

Several cities south of the Fraser River are destinations for this Tour as riders trek 800 km northwards from Langley to Boston Bar, then south to Tsawwassen and White Rock.

Throughout the spring and summer,  riders and fundraisers host all kinds of fun and creative community events to spread the word and increase awareness in support of children and their families living with cancer. From golf tournaments, to barbeques, movie nights, pot lucks and pole sits, we recommend you check the Events Calendar regularly for news and updates on Cops for Cancer events in your community.
