This sponsorship program helps Agassiz-Harrison Community Services (AHCS) provide special Christmas food hampers and gifts to families in need within the District of Kent and Harrison Hot Springs. Sponsors may be companies, organizations, individuals, and families. If your budget allows please consider sponsoring a larger family or several smaller ones.

How can I help?

SPONSORSHIP: In order to provide equal hampers among all the families, sponsors are asked to provide a monetary donation only. Your sponsorship will cover the entire cost of one Christmas hamper for the family size of your choice. AHCS and their volunteers will take care of purchasing, packing and delivering the hampers to families. AHCS will send every sponsor, that fills out the sponsorship form, a thank you letter (by mail) with some information about the family they sponsored and what they received for their Christmas hamper! The more sponsors received, the more  can be provided to all the families for Christmas.

Sponsorship Options:

Individual or Senior: $100
Family of 2 or 3: $130
Family of 4 or 5: $175
Family of 6+: $250

IN-KIND DONATION: From November 1st – December 19th, AHCS accepts in-kind donations of food and new, unwrapped gifts that will be used towards their Christmas Food Hampers and Santa Toy Shop. New socks, new or used winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves and pajamas are also accepted as part of our Christmas Coat Closet.
