Today we have a beautiful Ginger going up for adoption.

This is Carla and she is approximately 1 year old.  Carla was surrendered to the Chilliwack shelter about 9 weeks ago due to her owner having allergies.  When Carla was surrendered, shelter staff suspected that she was pregnant and sure enough she gave birth to a healthy litter of kittens.  Carla’s kittens are now 8 weeks old and she is just about ready for adoption, they are just waiting to get her spayed.

Carla has been staying in one of their wonderful foster homes while raising her little family.  She is very affectionate and loves being around people. Carla gets along great with all people; however, she is not good with other cats and they are unsure about dogs.

The pandemic adoption procedure is to express interest in adoption through the SPCA’s website. Since Carla is awaiting a spay before she can be adopted, she is not in the listing at the moment. You can still fill out an application. You will need Carla’s ID number for the application: 510076
