Meet Elliot.

Elliot is five years old and was dropped off at an emergency clinic with a urinary blockage by his owners.  The shelter received a call from the clinic asking if they would like to bring Elliot into care and take care of his medical needs, of course they said yes.   Elliot is currently resting in a foster home. He is recovering from a procedure to remove the crystals that were blocking his urethra and he is doing amazing.

Elliot will need to be on a special diet for the rest of his life (Feline Urinary SO) This food will help restore a balance to the PH level in his urine and will  prevent more crystals from forming. He should also be provided lots of water and some wet food every day, as both of these will help Elliot to keep flushing everything out.

Elliot is a very laid-back boy. He would make a great addition to any home, unfortunately, the shelter is unsure about other cats and dogs. If you would like to meet Elliot for adoption, there is an online process now. Go the the SPCA’s website, select adoptions, cats and choose the Chilliwack location. Arrangements will be made for a meeting.
