Meet Nora! She was brought to the Chilliwack SPCA as a stray and unfortunately nobody came to claim her.  Once Nora’s stray hold was up, she went in and was spayed. This beautiful gal is around 6 years old, quite the character and would make someone’s home very lively and fun. Nora enjoys relaxing during the day and does prefer the room to be quiet/not busy with people. She is very selective on who she  chooses to be near and would do best with cat savvy people who would understand her quirky behaviours. Sadly, a home with no children is recommended as Nora can be startled by loud noises and fast movements very easily. The staff and volunteers at the shelter are not sure how she would do around another cat since she was a stray. She might do okay if the other animal was very  quiet and calm when around her. Nora is all sass and will let you know how she is feeling every time, she  is very vocal at times, especially when she is eating as she likes to growl and hiss while devouring her meals.

If you would like to meet Nora, and see if she decides to accept you as one of her people, please contact the Chilliwack SPCA at 604-823-6612.
