For the 4th year in a row the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) is hosting its annual breakfast fundraising event “It’s a Wonderful Breakfast”.

Funds raised by this year’s breakfast will support the renovation and expansion of the Primary Care Clinic in the Chilliwack General Hospital.

The Foundation is also hosting a Toy & Toiletry Drive at the breakfast.  Toys collected will go to the Pediatric Unit playrooms; making a child’s stay in the hospital a more pleasant experience.  Toiletries and other comfort items collected will help fill the needs of the Fraser East mental health programs and other patients in need. To youth participating in mental health programs the small things count; Nail polish, shaving kits, puzzles and other items can lift spirits and make a positive impact.

The festive event includes a breakfast buffet, guest speakers, holiday entertainment & raffle prizes.  It has been confirmed that there will be a visit by the jolly old man himself – Santa. The MC for the morning’s festivities will be Chilliwack’s Trevor McDonald

This year’s keynote speaker is Chilliwack local Jim Ryan.  Jim’s life changed forever in the blink of an eye. Jim’s story of survival and recovery has inspired hundreds of men and women to shift perspective, choose gratitude and to keep moving forward through challenges.

It’s A Wonderful Breakfast is from 6:30am to 9:30am on November 28, 2019 at the Chilliwack Coast Hotel in downtown Chilliwack.
