Chilliwack Canada Day will be taking place at Townsend Park on July 1st! Main stage sponsor is Envision Financial! The event is also sponsored by Star 98.3,  HUB insurance, Home Depot, GP Home Furniture, Chances Chilliwack, Save on Foods and Decades Coffee Club.

Main events to highlight include:

  • 8 am Pancake Breakfast at Evergreen Hall
  • 10 am Chilliwack Canada Day Fun Run in support of the BC SPCA (run is at Townsend Park, registration is only $10 and kids 5 and under are free)

Chilliwack Firefighters Canada Day Breakfast July 1st at 8am at Hall One on Cheam Ave

 

ABBOTSFORD

Celebrate Canada Day in Abbotsford beginning with a parade going down South Fraser Way, starting at Bourquin Road, up Trethewey Street, to Maclure Road. Then, spend the afternoon at Abbotsford Exhibition Park enjoying food, playzones, entertainment, hayrides, community booths, fireworks at 10pm and so much more.

MISSION

The annual Canada Day Celebration takes place on Sunday July 1 at Fraser River Heritage Park.The event kicks off with a pancake breakfast at 8:00am, followed by family friendly activities and entertainment until 5:00pm. Full schedule of events and map to follow

Fireworks at 10pm at the Mission Raceway – free admission after 830pm. More details HERE

Celebrate Canada Day with the classic car show at Memorial Park! 9am – 3pm

AGASSIZ

Come down to Pioneer Park for a Rootin’ Tootin’ Hometown Country Party! With a live music performance by Todd Richard, giant inflatables, kids games, food vendors and community cake, we’re ready to celebrate. Canada!  9am – 12:30pm. AND While you enjoy the Canada Day festivities in Pioneer Park, be sure to stop by the Agassiz-Harrison Museum and Visitor Information Centre for a Dominion Day themed scavenger hunt in the galleries. Dress up in Victorian era clothing and capture a momento selfie to remind you of days past from 10a – 4p. After the Canada Day party in Pioneer Park, come for a free swim at the Ferny Coombe Pool. We have a prize for the most patriotic swimmer!
