The Abbotsford Police Department is counting down the days to their newest event …. the AbbyPD Heroes Ninja Challenge!

Join your local first responders for a 4 km run and 10-obstacle trail course – challenge yourself, your family and your friends as you get fit, enjoy the great outdoors and best of all…support our amazing Special Olympic athletes.

This family-friendly event is open to all ages and abilities!  Families who have younger children or persons with physical disabilities will be able to participate on a modified course.

 

Event Details:  June 1, 2019 at 8:30 am

 

The AbbyPD Heroes Ninja Challenge will start at Bradner Elementary (5291 Bradner Road).  Hero Ninjas will run approximately 1.3 km to a rural property, complete 5 fitness challenges along a 1.3 km trail system, and run the final 1.3 km back to the school.

All proceeds of this hero event will be donated to Special Olympics BC, supporting our local athletes in Abbotsford and around the province. For more information on Special Olympics, check out their website at www.specialolympics.ca/british-columbia.
