We’re just a few weeks away from the first #GreenShirtDay honouring Logan Boulet’s legacy. Logan and his family’s generous and selfless organ donation following the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash last year inspired 1,000’s to register as donors.

Many of us were touched by the events of April 6, 2018. Logan’s family and friends have opened up about their journey. The impact of others on Logan’s life and choices, which in turn have prompted them to be the face of organ donation in Canada and around the world.

An incredibly moving documentary has been made of their story, in advance of Green Shirt Day.

I registered as an organ donor last October when I renewed my drivers license. I hadn’t really thought about it before, but absolutely had Logan in mind when I signed up. Have you thought about it in the wake of the tragedy? Maybe you have been registered for years. Another important part of the process is to tell people/family/friends about your decision. Hold those you love close, every day is a precious gift. – Lisa
