On April 29, 2018, Abbotsford Police patrol officers responded to the 2200 block of Clearbrook Road for a report of an injured male. The victim had had been stabbed, and was located slumped over in his vehicle. Abbotsford Police Major Crime Detectives have identified 30 year old Sheleena BOTT as the alleged assailant; BOTT was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on Thursday, February 7, 2019. At the time of her arrest, BOTT had two outstanding Surrey RCMP warrants for additional assault charges, including aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, and assault with a weapon. Sheleena BOTT remains in custody. The two parties to this incident are known to each other, and the attack is believed to have been targeted.

A passerby called 911 to report that a male was slumped partially outside of his vehicle in a driveway of a residence in the 2200 block of Clearbrook Rd, early this morning at 4:40am. Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service and BC Ambulance Service arrived in the area and located the injured male. BC Ambulance Service immediately transported the male to hospital. Abbotsford Police Patrol officers arrived at the hospital to find a male suffering from puncture wound injuries consistent with a stabbing. A 38 year old man is currently being treated by medical personal and remains in serious condition. Major Crime detectives and the Forensic Identification Section are continuing to investigate this incident
