The lone RBC Cup game on Wednesday went to familiar territory as the Steinbach Pistons and Ottawa Jr. Senators went into overtime. The game had more goals scored than most games so far, but the competition this year has been intensely, evenly, matched. The Pistons had the early lead tonight in a game that had numerous penalties on both sides. Once the score was evened up, the teams traded the lead until the deciding goal went to the Jr. Senators about halfway into the 4th period. Final score of 5 – 4.
