RCMP on scene of unfolding police incident

 

Chilliwack:  RCMP have cordoned off a parking lot as they investigate a police incident in the downtown core.

 

On December 1st at approximately 7:15 am Chilliwack RCMP received a report of a car burning in a parking lot in the 45000-block of Yale Road Chilliwack.

 

Chilliwack RCMP Serious Crime officers supported by the Chilliwack Fire Department, and the Lower Mainland Integrated Forensic Support Team are at the location.  Police are currently in the scene examination phase of their investigation and no further information will be provided at this time.

 

The parking lot will remain cordoned off for a short period of time.
