Holly2

Today we heard about Holly, a 7 year old German Short Haired Pointer.  Holly is one of 6 GSPs who arrived at the Chilliwack SPCA through a cruelty investigation of a breeder. At approximately seven years old, she is the oldest one of the group. Holly is outgoing, friendly and playful. She likes to sit on top of her crate to nap. On walks, she is so happy and wants to walk all day.

German Short Haired Pointers, along with other sporting dogs, require a lot of exercise and space to run.  This breed has boundless energy – they are one of the most energetic breeds. If not given the right amount of attention, they can become bored and destructive. GSPs do not do well left alone all day or if relegated to a kennel without plenty of human interaction.
If you’d like to meet/adopt Holly, please contact the Chilliwack SPCA at 604-823-6612.
