A young girl has been abducted, prompting RCMP to issue anAmber Alert in Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Police say Hailey Dunbar-Blanchette was taken around 3:30 a.m. early this morning from the town of Blairmore, Alberta.

Her father was found dead inside the home and police believe that to be a homicide.

Mounties say they don’t know who took the child.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a newer model white van with a large rear antenna, with a flag attached.

Blairmore is about 220 kilometres southwest of Calgary and close to the BC border.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
