heat waveFraser Health is putting out a warning about the impending heat wave that’s going to hit the Fraser Valley this weekend.

Temperatures are expected to get as high as 30 degrees by Sunday, and Fraser Health is reminding people to make sure they stay hydrated, wear loose, light clothing, sunglasses, and of course sunscreen.

Early afternoon is generally the hottest time of day and it’s a good idea to stay in the shade, head indoors, and avoid strenuous activity.

Fraser Health also says it’s a good idea to check on people who live alone, especially seniors and people with chronic health conditions.
