Horse rescue in Abbotsford

It wasn’t your typical roadside distress call.
Dozens of police and firefighters showed up to a rural road in Abbotsford over the weekend to rescue a horse.
The animal had spooked during an afternoon ride and backed up into a ditch, where it quickly became stuck.
Crews used a tractor to free the animal, which appeared uninjured after the ordeal.
