face sculpture

Think about it, when was the last time you were chewing gum, and just threw it away?

Well you might want to think twice about that next time, as there is now an artist who is taking that discarded chewing gum, well the DNA from it, and turning it into sculptures of the person who chewed it!

Software artist Heather Dewey-Hagborg tests the DNA for genetic variations that reveal a person’s gender, ethnicity, eye color, and facial structure and uses this data to build model faces, subsequently 3-D printed in plastic.

WEIRD!
