bomber2(The Canadian Press) Jurors have found Dzhokhar Tsarnaev guilty of all 30 counts he faced in the Boston Marathon bombing trial.  The verdict is no surprise given that Tsarnaev’s lawyers admitted he played a role in the attack.

But the lawyer also argued that Tsarnaev’s older brother, Tamerlan, masterminded the attack and enlisted his then-19-year-old brother to help.

Tsarnaev was found guilty of conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction.  That finding alone could carry a death sentence in the penalty phase of the trial.

The trial will next move into a penalty phase, where the jury will hear testimony and arguments from both sides and ultimately be tasked with deciding whether he gets the death penalty.

3 people were killed in the bombing, including an 8 year old boy.  260 people were injured…many of them are now physically disabled.
