campingStarting Sunday morning you can start to make reservations for BC Parks campsites.

Fees are going up slightly this year, between two and five dollars per night, but FVRD Area H Director Taryn Dixon says she doesn’t think that will hurt numbers in the Cultus Lake area.

“Camping is very much a really popular activity that people like to do certainly in British Columbia. And Cultus Lake is one of the premier destinations for families. So it’s part of BC’s culture to camp so we are expecting another busy season at the lake.”

Camping numbers in Cultus Lake and Chilliwack Lake provincial parks held fairly steady between 2013 an 2014 after seeing a significant increase from 2012.
