Mike Hellinger is your morning newsman on Star 98.3, bringing you up to date on the latest information from home and beyond.  Mike grew up in Langley, and is a proud Fraser Valley resident.

Kate Forman hails from the home of the world's most famous Bard, William Shakespeare. She grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon and completed her Media Studies Diploma there.  She graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a BA Honours degree in Broadcast Journalism in 1998.

Grant Sigaty is your afternoon news guy, letting you know what's happening in the world whether you like it or not. Grant grew up in the Fraser Valley before spending several years at UBC getting a Biopsychology degree for reasons which escape him now. Upon realizing he wasn't going to get a job he changed careers and went into broadcasting.

If you weren't a DJ, what would you be?  Probably slinging burgers and cutting French fries in an old 1972 VW van that had been transformed into a Chip Stand.  The fries will be over salted, but the gravy will be amazing
