Details

Cops for Cancer is an exciting annual event that takes place each fall, when over a hundred law enforcement and emergency services personnel from across the province brave all types of weather as they cycle up to two weeks across the daunting terrain of Vancouver Island, Northern BC, the coast of British Columbia and the Fraser Valley.

Why? Because the impact of cancer on the life of a child and their family is devastating. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society through Cops for Cancer are used to fund life-saving research and caring support programs to reduce its impact.

By registering to fundraise for Cops for Cancer, you are helping the Canadian Cancer Society in our mission to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life for people living with cancer. More importantly, you are showing families who have a child with cancer that they do not have to face their journey alone.

September 21-29, 2017, following months of arduous training, 28 committed law enforcement and emergency services personnel will spend 9 days cycling from Tsawwassen to Boston Bar. Tour de Valley will be welcomed by communities who will organize Cops for Cancer fundraising events and activities.

Every dollar counts and being a part of Cops for Cancer is so much more than a bike ride. This is your chance to get involved – as a team or as an individual – and find fun, creative and exciting ways to help the Canadian Cancer Society maximize funds directed to childhood cancer research and programs supporting children and their families.
