Island 22 Horse Trials and BC Championships

Island 22 Equestrian Park Society will be hosting the 23rd Annual Event & BC Championships on Labour Day weekend Sept 4 - 6. It's 3 fun filled days of excitement and the park's main fundraising event. The popularity of the event has grown to the point of having almost 200 horses each year. Turn on the Tap - Ride for Safe Water
Saturday, Sept. 11th
The Turn on the Tap Motorcycle Ride is a way for riders across Canada to raise awareness and funds to help families in the developing world get safe water. The two hour Fraser Valley Ride begins at Marantha Baptist Church in Abbotsford to Harrison Hot Springs and back to Maranatha Baptist Church. Check in begins at 9am Saturday, September 11th and ends with a BBQ at 4pm.
Cultus Lake United Church Camp

Cultus Lake United Church Camp is having a walk-a-thon/paddle-a-thon on Sunday Sept 12th from 1pm - 5pm at the camp in Lindell Beach. Please come out, join in the fun and help raise funds to send kids to camp! Activities offered are kayaking, canoeing and hiking. If you’d rather go for a ramble or relax on the beach you can still help the camp just by being there!
Paws for a Cause...walk for the animals

Bring along your pooch and come join us at beautiful Picnic Area of Fairfield Island Sportsfield for a day of family fun at the Scotiabank and BC SPCA Paws for a Cause Walk. Our event will kick start at 11am with the walk taking place at noon. Once there you will be able to enjoy fantastic entertainment and activities, all in support of our favourite furry friends.
Bicycle Trek for Life and Breath

September 11th and 12th is the 26th Annual Bicycle Trek for Life and Breath. It’s an exhilarating, fully supported, two-day 200-km ride along rural roads with mountain views and waterfront scenery of beautiful British Columbia to raise money in support of lung health. Riding at your own pace means you don’t need to be a gold medal athlete; just prepare yourself for fun, fresh air and 400 new friends!
Agassiz Fall Fair
September 17th & 18th
In 2010 we celebrate the 106th Fall Fair & the 62nd Corn Festival. This annual event includes a parade, midway, exhibits, music, animal shows and demos, antique tractor pull, logger sports and good ‘ol country fun. This year, the fair falls on Friday, September 17th and Saturday, September 18th at the Agassiz Fairgrounds.
Pub Fundraiser for Tracie

Join us on Saturday, Sept 18th at the Jolly Miller Pub. Tickets are $10 and will include burger, salad, and and a drink! Tracie has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for the past 12 years. She has dealt with debilitating syptoms along with fear of what tomorrow will bring. But now she has hope. There is a new treatment available in several countries around the world, but not in Canada.
Mission Celebration of Community
