Come enjoy a fun filled evening with all the proceeds going to the Abbotsford Branch of the BCSPCA.  All For The Animals SPCA Auction will be held on Saturday, July 4th from 5:30pm-10pm at Rancho Caterer's, 35110 Delair Road, Abbotsford.  There will be silent and live auctions, 50/50 draw, door prizes and a succulent buffet dinner put on by Rancho Caterers.

On July 4th Hope Flight Fest will be celebrating 100 years of powered flight in Canada and will be having helicopter rides, glider rides, Fraser Blues Demonstration Team in attendance, Langley Museum of Flight in attendance and COPA for Kids.  It is free to the public and happens from 9am-midnight at Hope Regional Park in Hope.  Go here for all the info.

Java Hut in Sardis presents "Party in the Parking Lot" on July 4th with musical guest Orion.  This is a free concert for all ages.  Show starts at 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.  Please bring folding chairs and blankets and don't forget your dancing shoes!  Event may be subject to change if the weather is poor.

The Downtown Abbotsford Business Association presents the 28th Annual Abbotsford Berry Beat Festival, a family friendly event!  Celebrate the bounty of one of the world’s best and most beautiful berry producing communities.  Admission to Berrybeat Festival is Free and so is parking!  It all happens July 4th & 5th,  so mark your calendars for a fun filled weekend!

Inspired by the life experience and wisdom of the Elders of Pleasant View Care Home in Mission.  The Legacy Project Generations on Stage Presents "E" MOTION "Elders" in Motion.  An exciting, intergenerational, multi-media performance.  Presented by Fraser Valley Youth Dance Theatre and volunteers under the direction of Artistic Director, Lee Kwidzinski.  At the Clarke Foundation Theatre on Sunday, July 5th at 2pm.  Tickets are $12 for Adults, $8 for Seniors & Children and are available at Jazz-Ma-Tazz, Lanka Jewels and Pleasant View Care Home.

Party in the Park will be back this summer on Friday evenings starting July 10th until August 28th.  Come down to Chilliwack Central Community Park on Friday's from 5:00pm - 9:30pm and enjoy free music, entertainment, kids activities and more!

Promontory Heights Elementary Community School will hold it's 2nd Annual Community Carnival on Saturday, July 11th from 3pm-7pm.  Come and celebrate local history, arts, culture and entertainment...fun for all ages!  Cost is $20/family which includes umlimited activity access.  Go here for more info. on PHECSA.

Be part of the fun at the 2009 BC Heritage Finals General Performance Competition at Chilliwack Heritage Park on July 11th and 12th.  This year promises to be bigger and better with Western, English, Driving, Trail, Reining and Speed Classes.
