(by Dean Recksiedler)  The BC Liberals have no choice but to move forward following a pair of by-election defeats Tuesday night, but Premier Christy Clark can still hang her hat on something.

According to new rankings from the right-wing Fraser Institute, BC Premier Christy Clark may just be the best provincial leader in all of Canada.

Most notably, this survey suggests Clark is at the top of the list when it comes to fiscal management in the province.

While many argue that nobody remembers number two, Quebec Premier Phillipe Couillard and Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall weren’t that far behind.

Researchers also considered government spending, taxes, deficits, and debt. The Fraser Institute also disclosed that all the premiers have a bit of room to improve.
