Steve Harvey was a part of New Years celebrations in Colombia….. kind of!

Its been a few weeks now since the Miss Universe Pageant happened and the epic gaffe by Steve Harvey announcing the wrong winner. He did apologize for the mistake and eventually Miss Philippines was given the crown and Miss Colombia re-assigned as 1st runner up.

Well apparently, Colombia is still upset about it . . . because during a New Year’s Eve celebration, some locals burned a dummy of Steve.

Should point out these types of celebrations are tradition in Latin America and are done to try to ward off bad luck in the coming year.  So it’s a common thing to do, but amusing that they were so affected by the Miss Universe debacle to make one of Steve. Here’s the video if you want a peek:
