Driver airlifted after serious accident on Hwy1

A man was airlifted to hospital after a serious crash on Hwy 1 last night.  It happened around 10pm east bound near the Cole Rd rest area.  The vehicle flipped and landed in the centre median.  The man, who was the only person in the car, is in serious condition.  No details yet around what led to the accident.
