Canada_150_2Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon MP Mark Strahl announced funding for a few other infrastructure projects in the Fraser Valley.

Coming on the heels of Tuesday’s spray park expansion in Chilliwack, the federal government is giving out $171,000 for upgrades to Stó:lo Coqualeetza cultural site buildings.

In addition, the Hope Curling Club is getting five grand to paint the outside of the building, and Harrison Hot Springs is receiving just over $24,000 for upgrades to the East Sector Lands park.

The money is from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program, which funds programs leading up to Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017.
