bc transit2A few of Abbotsford’s bus routes have been having trouble keeping to their schedules, thanks to increasing traffic and occasional long waits at rail crossings.

To help with the problem Abbotsford Council has approved a few changes to try to make the service more reliable.

The number 2 Bluejay-Huntingdon route won’t be making any Huntingdon trips past 7 PM, and will make fewer stops out that way the rest of the day.

The Abbotsford-Mission connector will cut back on side trips to Matsqui Village in the mornings.

And finally the number 4 Saddle and number 7 Sumas Mountain runs will stop at the downtown exchange in the evening, rather than continuing to Bourquin.

These changes will take effect this September.
