The Chilliwack Cultural Centre has announced 109 shows, classes, and events for the 2013-2014 season.
It’s shaping up to be the busiest season yet for the Centre, with about 20 percent more bookings than previous years.
Executive director Michael Cade says along with the growth in bookings, they’re also seeing the crowds grow too.
“The big key is growing the audience along with the rentals. So its one thing to get shows in but we have to get audiences in for them as well. Without the audiences the shows are irrelevant.”
Some of the upcoming musical highlights include performances by the Nylons, Bif Naked, and a U2 Tribute Band.
There will also be stage performances such as the Importance of Being Earnest, the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and Dora the Explorer Live.
