Perhaps the weather had something to do with it, but Chilliwack RCMP are reporting a rather uneventful Halloween this year.
Cbl. Tracy Wolbeck says the entire upper fraser valley only received 61 calls last night, which is way fewer than they typically get on an average Friday or Saturday. She says they got a few calls about firecrackers and noise, but no reports of injuries and no arrests.
BTW, if you have pumpkins you want to get rid of, there is free pumpkin composting available at the recycling depot on Parr Rd in Chilliwack until November 10th.
